Alcohol Abuse | Alcoholism
Substance abuse experts make a distinction between alcohol abuse and alcoholism. Alcohol abusers may have some ability, often with help, to moderate or better control their drinking. Alcoholics, however, will generally benefit from an abstinence-based approach.
